Do you really think Trump will get 16-20% of the Black vote?

[snip]

Unfortunately all we have to go by are polls. I think Trump could get 12% of the Black vote and that would be an incredible result for him, especially if it comes in the battleground states he is protecting. The number of Black voters in 2016 was far less than in 2012, as one might expect. It will be interesting to see if more Black voters vote in 2020. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

He didn’t put up the billboard. The cop union did. They had nothing to do with one another. And his statement was true. After a spree of murders, he was worried but not because the city was more dangerous, it isn’t, but because he didn’t want to see a spiraling drug war.

Anyway. Like I said before, Baton Rouge is fine and will remain so.

I still can't bring myself to vote for Trump. I could go through the litany of reasons, but you already know them.

But I'm damn sure voting for Cornyn for Senator and the Republican candidate for the House in my district. If the Republicans lose the Senate, and I think they will, we're hosed. Pelosi, Biden, even Trump are raring to spend $2 or $3 trillion more on stimulus, and the only thing standing in their way are about 30 Republican Senators. Then there's ending the filibuster and packing the supreme court. When I throw out the reasons why I'm not voting for Trump, my friends always bring up, "but look at all the judges he appointed." That's potentially about to backfire in a huge way. Biden and the Democrats may even pack appeals courts.

The problem, I don't see a likely scenario where we win 51 Senate seats, and think it's even more unlikely Trump wins. Ernst and Tillis would both have to win to get 51 seats. And we've got to hold Montana and Georgia. We'll be lucky if the Senate ends up 50/50 and Kamala Harris is the deciding vote. Although as I think Captain Midnight pointed out, there may be enough moderate Democratic Senators out there to keep us from fucking up big time.

A decent outcome in my opinion would be if the Republican Party ends its love affair with Donald Trump and makes more rational choices for candidates going forward, who can appeal to a broader base. If the AOC/Bernie Sanders wing of their party continues to make inroads, the Democrats eventually will fuck up, just like the hard left did in Europe. And Republicans will come roaring back, like they did in the 1980's.

Tiny - I pray that U are correct
I fear the DPST's plan to hog-tie their 're-building' of Amerika in their own image in such a way that damage will be irreparable - and the only way to change their socialist policies will be open armed revolt.

That will likely end in a totalitarian state - one way or another.

I do believe you are correct - biden will pack the courts - not just the SC - but all Federal and State courts with huge numbers of radical jurists. To make their socialist revolution permanent. While Biden may not directly control nominations to saset courts =- he will direct the Governors that do.

Your comrade Xi will make the socialist revolution permanent

"Our relationship with China has now probably never, ever been better," Trump said, adding that he gets on well with President Xi Jinping. "He's for China, I'm for the U.S., but other than that, we love each other."

Yet you fail to contemplate that they are not necessarily voting Demonicrat either.
