Texas Attorney General indicted

Reminder - it is for failing to register as a securities dealer for making a commission on the private sale of stock. Anybody else would have paid the fine and that would have been it.

This is brutal political payback - do I hear jury nullification? Originally Posted by DSK

So let me get this straight. Paxton the AG voted a law in that he did not know about?
Does that mean he just votes down the party line without even looking at it?
That is his excuse for not doing the paperwork?
What about not telling the Goettsches?

Paxton knew he broke the law all along. As early as 2001 he was soliciting for Mowery. He says he did not know he had to register? That is funny he has done it before.
OK - so if Hillary did the exact same thing, what penalty would you propose she get? Originally Posted by DSK

As for me I say let the chips fall where they may.
I imagine you would say she is guilty and want to investigate Hillary over and over 8 or 9 times if found not guilty.

His inappropriate (illegal / criminal) activity was an issue during the GOP primary. Stupid fucking RWWipes elected the asshole anyway.

Now he faces possible contempt charges for deliberately ignoring SCOTUS's ruling on same-sex marriage.

Uphold the law my ASS!

He'll like the big house.

I have a feeling he didn't register his commission because he knew the shit was gonna hit the fan someday.
The democrats have countered, they have thrown Kathleen Kane into the ring.
