1st 2012 Prediction - Iran and Israel

There's a new and often overlooked technology available other than conventional bombers. This is kinetic energy weapons launched from space planes or satellites in orbit. They don't use explosive but rely on incredible speeds and their dense mass to penetrate and destroy. Think of a giant GPS guided lawn dart made of depleted Uranium launched at orbital speeeds of around 23000 mph and guided to a target. Add a simple scramjet to make up for the air drag of the atmosphere and you have a pretty formidable weapon that will be very difficult to trace back to the launch point. Jerry Pournelle has been talking about it for quite literally decades. He called it "Thor", and it occasionally got called "Flying Crowbars from SPAAAACCCEEEE!!!!"

Robert Heinlein described something similar in "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" in 1966 (Hugo winner, 1967). Lunar colonies revolted, and attacked Earth using big rocks encased in steel, launched from an electromagnetic catapult (today it woudl be called a mass driver). He included first-order calculations of impact energies, and compared them to nuclear weapon effects. (No, I have not checked his numbers, but Heinlein was notorious for doing his homework carefully.)
Give me an old AD-1 with a four bladed propeller, one pilot, and some iron gravity bombs and I can destroy anything. Originally Posted by theaustinescorts

That was the original requirement for the GBU-28 "Bunker Buster".

Full Disclosure: I worked at Texas Instruments during the first Gulf War. TI developed the guidance package for the GBU-28, based on the Paveway laser-guided bomb kits. I did not work on this, but they told us all about the project soon after the war was over.
That applied in the 1980s Osirik strike because it was five planes and one gravity bomb involved. Originally Posted by theaustinescorts

The first airplane bombed the containment dome, and made a hole. The others precision-bombed the hole, putting their bombs inside the dome.

A similar tactic was used late in World War II to wreck the Tokyo railway station. A fighter-bomber (I do not recall what airplane) put one bomb through the skylight. The building shell was still standing afterwards, but the tracks were destroyed.
I think the Israelis are paying Iranians to kill these scientists. A lot of Iranians hate their govt. because of the way they were treated when they were protesting. It won't be hard to buy them. Originally Posted by kingorpawn

False flag operations are par for the course in Mossad, particularly when posing unauthorized as CIA case officers.

Not that they'd welcome you.

I'm always amused when evangelical Americans show up in Israel thinking they'll be welcomed there only to find out the hard way the Israelis hate evangelical Christians, and resent any Christians showing up in their country.

If you've ever been there you would know that most Israelis are proud that they've conquered Palestine and made it into a Jewish state. They really don't like anyone there practicing any religion other than Judaism, and that includes Christians.

May I suggest that you find the nearest Israeli embassy/consulate and volunteer to work for Mossad. They customarily use and then destroy all non-Israeli agents, so don't be surprised when the inevitable happens.

That's rich.....TAE telling anyone to move out of the USA for their views when many of the views he himself expresses here are anti-American, anti-government and anti-Israeli. Maybe you should take your own advice and move to one of the Arab states you so vehemently defend all the time. Let us know how THAT works out for you.

By the way, just got back in country. We'll still have to make that meeting happen sometime in the next week or two Mr. TAE.

They therefore are not treating it as a confidential informant matter, and have provided it to me.

As I've always said, you are a LE informant.

If you truly believe in the Palestinian cause why don't you go over there and fight for it instead of living in a luxury apartment and driving a sports car in the US while your relatives are over there poor and fighting for a cause they believe in even its a lost cause.
