Actually, Ft Worth-Dallas makes more sense to me. But then again, I live in Tarrant county and hate being the red headed stepchild to dallas

But, I couldn't actually verify this by following the references so I'm not positive about this. Also, the footnote points out that it's often written in many different ways. I think many people may use DFW partly because that's the designator for the big airport, plus it's just more convenient (IMHO).
More to the point of this thread:
Hopefully DF\W won't use this to move to a hands-off or "air dance" policy like a lot of other cities I've visited in the past.

Isn't that actually the law anyway? I looked for this, too, but couldn't find the relevant ordinance or law. Yeah, I know that pretty much everyone ignores it almost all of the time, but I'm fairly sure that this has been the law for a long time.
