That's a very fitting name for it too. I used to travel a lot domestically which gave me some opportunities but lately all foreign. That's nearly impossible to arrange. Though I used to get to Vancouver a couple times a year - what a smorgosbord that place is. ASPD was a very useful board.

Newbie to this Board, recent transplant to Upstate, but I'm an experienced older professional gentleman and a senior member on other Boards. I live in a very rural part of the middle of the Southern Tier and have to travel or have providers travel a long way to see me. It is over an hour drive each way to Elmira, Rochester, Buffalo, and Jamestown. Sweet Elizabeth was kind enough to drop by one time shortly after I moved here, but she just happened to be in the neighborhood. She is definitely 'newbie friendly.'

I'm thinking about moving in a few months, and somewhere better for the hobby would definitely be interesting.
