Hate To Tell You This But Down In The Mekong Delta.....In South Vietnam...for those that don't know Vietnam well....I'm not Vietnamese but I spend a lot of time there...North And South.....I found that a lot of people didn't know how to make it...at least not as well as they made it in the Northern parts.....I'm not an Expert by far but I have had it a lot and when I went to the deep South In the Mekong Delta they just would say they didn't make it or didn't know how...now lets have a beer and enjoy some Pho Originally Posted by baddboyy129
Pho originated in North Vietnam, and it is cooked differently (yes, better) in the North, vs. the South.. more spices, flavors.. specifically more ginger.. almost all Pho one has at North Texas restaurants are Southern-style, with bean sprouts, lime, and cilantro (those are not added in Northern Pho recipes).. btw, the Vietnamese word for lime is exactly the same as lemon, so you often hear a waiter ask if you want lemon, you say "yes", and he will bring you a lime..
Pho King Way used to be on Beach and Western Center..alas, they closed a couple of years ago...missed getting one of their T-shirts..

Pho Tay Do ? thanks general...

I used to hit an amp, just on the opposite corner, Pure Massage, half a year or so ago and get FS in a L1 place. Now that was like a challenge you had to work on , not like these comfy Dallas spas ...
