I use P411 and I agree that it isn't strictly necessary in Houston, ECCIE has more girls and they are usually good at talking to each other to verify you. However, in situations like last week where I saw somebody visiting Houston, it helped me set up a date instantly without waiting for verification, and when traveling around the US it has been indispensable. I have no idea how I'd have made dates in some cities without it.

Of course P411 knows who you are when you are verified, and there are risks to being on that site and giving up personal data. I feel that there are plenty more severe risks in this hobby. I guess it's just up to each person to research those risks and decide if the reward is worth it. For me, the membership fees are easily worth the service, and the risk of exposure from P411 is far less than the risk of meeting an anonymous whore off BP in a sketchy notel in an unfamiliar city when I travel.

I just declined to see a provider here because she didn't have a P411 account...works both ways...

In reality just the opposite is true: Knowing personal shit about others and NOT DISCUSSING it (even with them) generates invaluable trust within others.
