Now the Ignore List function is something different, and truly necessary, because assholes whose opinions I'm not interested in can show up in any random thread at any time, so putting them on my ignore list is a necessary adjunct to my diet, exercise, and drug regimen in keeping my blood pressure under control. But threads? I can ignore them just fine without the need for a board function to do it for me.
