"Classifying" men who see TS providers
TestingLimits is probably just a troll, would wonder what his other handle is on this site...he has only posted under this handle to this thread.
That said, let me try to put this into a tiger's perspective.
1. I like women. The idea of being with a woman with a penis would completely turn me off. The idea of being with a woman, who used to have a penis, would turn me off if I found out about her previous life.
2. There are a lot of people on this site & others like it that are weird. I mean really weird. Guys who like to have a lady stomp on their balls, sorry, but in my book, that is weird.
People who play with scat are weird in my book. Watersports, I would have thought that was weird long ago, but having enjoyed some lite watersport playtime, I don't have a big aversion to it any longer. Watersports where the goal is to demean another human being, bad. Watersports where both parties are enjoying it, fine.
3. Gay sex between two women seems quite normal to me. (Normal is a moving target, and I get to define normal, not you.)
Gay sex between two men is weird. Why? Because I have never found any attraction to another man, physical or emotional. So, my normal in this area says it is not normal for two men to be atracted to each other.
Why are two ladies together okay, but two guys not? Hey, it is my normal. Note, I am not making a moral decision for the two guys, or two gals. Is it WRONG? Hell, after spending time with you guys & gals, I don't think any of us can define what is wrong. (Leaving out all of the forbidden topics on this site, which are obviously wrong.)
4. A TS, in of herself or himself, and I am totally unable to determine gender in this case, is not wrong. It is a state of being. Someone who wants to participate in playtime with a TS, whether the TS has a penis or not, whether the other party is a guy or a gal, does that make them gay? Off hand, my thoughts are that in this case, we need to define a new sexual type encounter.
a. Hetrosexual encounters: Male & Female. One of each.
b. Homosexual encounters: Male & Male or Female & Female. (Gay sex)
c. Bisexual Encounters: MFM, FMF, FFM, MMF: For the sexual partner who is the opposite sex of the other two, this might really fall under a hetrosexual encounter. For the partner who only engages with the partner of the opposite sex, this is still hetrosexual. Thus, in a MFM or FMF, it may actually only be a hetrosexual encounter. Whereas, in a MMF or FFM encounter, the MM or FF or engaging in bisexual encounters.
d. TS Encounters: I am not sure I would classify this a a gay encounter. It is just different. Not morally deciding if this is good or bad, just different. I suspect many variations of this, such as seen in "c." could be generated.
e. Voyeur Sex: M--->MF, M---->FF, M---->MM; Could also substitute the first M for a F. Does variations of these make a person gay? I don't know, but it falls into a grey area I guess. Also note the any of the parties could be substitutes here with a TS, I guess.
f. Finally, does the variation of masturbating, whether while watching live sex or media provided sex basically fall into this same class as "e."?
We are all a bunch of misfits according to society in general. Does it really matter whether a person wants to engage in sex with a guy, a gal, or a TS at some stage of the transformation? At this point in the discussion, I want to go back and scratch out the word gay from my whole post. Of course, the strike-out format does not work, so I can't. But the idea of using the word "GAY" is meant to be derogative in nature, to suggest something bad.
How can any of us judge another person's behavior on this site and label it as bad. As long as no one is injured, each person is respected for who they are, then we should all go back to the original meaning of GAY and be happy for our opportunity to play here in this fantasy world.
The idea that a man who is see's a TS provider is more at risk of getting aids, or that he is more likely to transmit something to a female provider is, frankly, a load of horse poopie.
First off, what kind of idiot do you have to be to NOT wear a condom when playing with ANYONE? Secondly, if the guy is moronic enough to NOT wear a condom with a TS, what are the odds his being a moron will change by being with a female? Third, yeah, there are TS's providers out there who allow bareback for the aforementioned moronic male clients. But there are female providers who do the same.
I think Tigercat summed it up pretty well - aside from our own personally defined rules about who is what by sleeping with whom, we are all out here on the fringe, and calling anyone else weird, or kinky, or whatever is the proverbial kettle calling the proverbial pot black.
Play safe, have fun, be well.
Last 2 posts had very good points! Mostly its a matter of personal opinon and how one views themselves and the world around them, for that fact alone, no one is "wrong" Everyone has different tastes, and variety is the spice of life! A persons gender and sex are two different things, for instance my sex is "male" being pre-op, but my gender is female!
It has caused confusion many times. Im 100% passable. The last occurance was shortly after I moved here and got a new doctor for check ups on my hormone levels, all my legal documantation, drivers license etc says "female" so when the doctor seen me, she had no idea, then I was asked to disrobe, I then mentioned it and she was flabbergasted that she didnt/couldnt tell. Tiger, as far as gender clarification, a TS goes by the gender they live by, so in turn, as myself, I prefer to be refered to as female, same with a female that transitions to live as a man, prefers to be associated with thier projected image. We arent out there to try to "fool" people or "trap" them. We do it soley for ourselves and our own sanity and well being. And I fully respect others opinions, natuarlly I am a very flirty person, anyone who has seen me in chat knows that, but rest assured its all in fun. This site has been wonderful so far, Ive made lots of connections and found some very good clientel, and even some regular friends. I just wish more people understood the fact, we are people too, everyday in some way shape or form, we face discrimination for the mere fact of what we are as the root of our entire being. We love, we laugh, we live, just like everyone else. Hate = hurts everyone.

Try and remember that when you come accross people of different beliefs, religious folks hate other religious folks, eco folks hate people that do not think exactly as they do. It is all over, so don't feel to picked on.
I never "hate", I dont have a mean bone in my body
Not right now ya don't. Never schedule with dearhunter then. He'll puta mean bone in ya.
oh im always up for temporary bone in me, hehe
Thank you for actually sticking to the OP and answering the question. The guy wanted answers and not for us to beat around the bush. I totally agree with Reya here. A year ago my answer would be different. However, life isn't black or white.
A man that sees a female escort and also sees a TS is not gay. He is technically bisexual (doesn't matter whether they're pre-op or post op). As a woman, I can make babies. A TS cannot make babies so she's not 100% woman and to say otherwise is being pretentious. There was a poll/thread on another site where a group of guys that did this claim to be straight and I felt they were in denial.
However, I will agree with the others that say this should not matter. Society classifies us enough. We don't need to classify people in the hobby. And while we're on the subject of transexuals, I saw a super HOT TS while surfing eros the other day.

Hopefully that judgment will change, but not untill people stand up for what they believe in and start posting without caring about what other people think.

TShortKakes,
My question mark as to gender determination is probably just that. I don't know personally anyone who has undergone the transformation. Well, I don't know that I know anyone, at least.
If push came to shove, as an engineer, I probably would lean toward a mechanical decision of the plumbing determines the gender. On the other hand, though I hated chemistry and chemical engineering classes, I could I suppose boil it down to a chemical composition and let the hormone test be the guiding factor.
At the same time, the gentler, kinder tiger(cat) who has come to know and love the people I have met here for who they are would probably be okay with letting a person determine their gender preference and accept them for that. However, in many cases, if they look like a male, have male plumbing, then I am going to associate them with the male gender. If they have allowed themselves to acquire more feminine characteristics, then I am probably going to be able to accept them as female. Not saying I will accept them in my bed, but in the boardroom, in the workplace, sure. Same for male transformations.
You have acquired in my eyes female characteristics. In the workplace, I don't need to know your plumbing. I would say, and you can probably comment on this, when you go to the ladies' room, I suggest you close the stall door and probably don't pee standing up like a male, but take a seat, so the other ladies don't get jealous. (I think I am understanding that you still retain your male plumbing. If not, my apologies for such a rude image I provided.)
Back to the original question, I think we have made the GAY tag a very derogatory remark, and it just isn't necessary. If we want to add tags to people, them calling us bastards, whores, philanderers (sp?) and many other derogatory terms should be equally applicable. And once we take that road, white trash, trailer trash, and all of the other ethnic slurs should be fair game too. Sorry, but I'll pass on going down that road.
I chose option three merely for the sake that there is a possibility I'm bisexual.
I wouldn't freak out if I "crossed swords" in a MMF engagement.
But as of now I really don't find the full male form sexually appealing.
I'm sorry for joining this thread so late, but I have to say that in my opinion the most useful thing that I have seen in it has been the comments from Ms Shortkakes. Based on her responses here, I am not surprised that she is covered up on clients. Just replace the term "TS" in the original question with any racial or religeous label that you want, and most of the posters would say that this entire conversation was mean spirited and inappropriate, yet in spite of the fact that people are suggesting that seeing a TS (her from her perspective) might "taint" a client with other providers, Ms Shortkakes continues to write rational, non emotional posts. I take my hat off to her patience. If I ever have a chance to see a Tgirl in the future, I hope that I will have the balls to write a review for her so that others can appreciate her skills as a provider
Seems to me a man with an attraction to men would be likely be gay or bi. A man with an attraction to a TS would more likely be attracted to fetish or kink. After all, it's the female form of the TS that is likely the turn on in that case. ANd the forbidden nature of it is all the more sexy.IMHO. After a certain age, it's all about the prostate for many men ... so if you're toyed by a woman 'back there' or tooled by a tranny are you 'bi' in either case? Or just kinky? Why the labels? Does it really f-in matter? Whose in charge here, anyway? Live & let live, and exxxplore your limits people. Just be safe. Great post ....
Forgot to mention ... this "classifying" question reminds me of an old saying:
"It's not the d*ck in your *ss that makes you a fag ... it's the smile on your face."

Perhaps someone can tell me why that is?
Smile.
At any rate, welcome to Another Realm. It's nice to see so many people intrigued by this topic!!!
