Regardless of ANY other factor(s), a smart working professional will know what the market will bear for her attractiveness and her unique skill set and she will price her time accordingly to maximize her return on the investment she has made by touring. If she doesn't return on a subsequent tour, she's missed the sweet spot and she'll quickly adapt or be left wanting. Most all adapt. I have rarely had a discussion of my rate being too high - or too low. I'm delighted that I provide superlative service for a reasonable rate at a pace which I am comfortable with - as I see it, not much else matters in the grand scheme of things.
