Years ago I watched my dad try to quit smoking and fail over and over and over. Finally he succeeded in doing it. I overhead him telling one of his friends what finally got him over the hump. He said all the other times he tried to quit because he knew it bothered my mom (I never once heard my mom say anything about his smoking, but it did bother her). When he finally quit he realized that of all his friends, he was the last one who still smoked. He quit because HE wanted to quit. That was almost 40 years ago. Today he is 91.
You can do it Ginger. If my stubborn old fart of a dad can do it, so can you.
