18th Amendment (Prohibition) lasted all the way up 21th Amendment wiped the 18th's butt in 1933.
But, as we all know, Members of Congress don't always understand (or believe) history.

I think the main issue is child sex trafficking, something I think we can all agree is a crime. Sex should be a choice, not a child who is being kidnapped or being sold into a sex slave market by a parent or relative. But it is a shame to see those who are adults who chose this profession are no longer able to advertise in states where the profession is legal. I imagine there will be changes here on ECCIE, or perhaps they take the server outside the US. Just a thought...Do you know any lawyers that would take the case? I wish I knew whom to talk to. I would go and pinch my idea. I would hope that someone would want to help make this safer for everyone. If anyone knows a lawyer pm me. I will be glad to go and try and get us some help.
For all you providers making "a lot" of money, you should band together and hire the best legal team you can to fight SESTA and FOSTA on its constitutional basis. It will take some serious cash to hire a great legal team that could tie it up in the courts. But when you consider the alternative, it's a lot better in the long run to crowdfund some of your earnings to ensure the future of your lucrative livelihood than it is to work at McDonald's. Paradoxically, without saying so, they base the argument on the fact that women are too dumb to actually know what they are doing. PS: I do not advise saying that to some of the LWWs until you make sure they have no weapon readily at hand, they really don't like it pointed out to them that they are stereotyping and patronizing a whole group of women.
I think it’s the same people who believe homosexuality can be cured. Originally Posted by TinMan

Hi all. Here's some info on Eccie.Using TOR or a VPN set to a foreign country you would be able to access eccie.net, however the site would be liable if US ads were posted there. This is why TER took down US ads. The problem will be that US providers will have no place to advertise.
The domain name was purchased on godaddy.com, an American domain registrar.
The U.S. Govt could tell Go Daddy to remove the domain. Eccie could just move registration to a foreign registrar if that happens.
The hosting servers the website resides on are in Amsterdam. Because of this, the Govt could just ask Eccie to remove the U.S. portion of the forum. You'd then need VPN to access the site from that point onward. Originally Posted by be-kind_rewind
