You're kidding, right? .... actually "left" of "left" is more accurate.
That's interesting. I disagree. I think Yang will be able to hang in there once his message gets out. But we'll see who's right.Affordable housing is not going to solve the homeless problem. The homeless can't afford any type of housing. Every hear of "Community First" in Austin. Solutions like that are trying to solve the homeless problem.
Speedracer, Yes, I predicted a House win. They were able to keep the Senate so I consider that a win. Plus we have the Presidency so that is 2/3 which is greater then 1/3. I don't understand why you'all think that was such a great win? It was a win surely, but not a great one.
Anyway, I don't have facts to back up what I think the American public is going to do. But I know one thing. Midwesterner's aren't going to go for free healthcare for illegals. That,to me, is a no brainer.
Not one of their candidates addressed the homeless problem in America. Not one.
They need to look in their own backyard first.
And before anybody can say "what about Trump" - He quietly signed an executive order this week to launch a new council on affordable housing. In effect, he's trying to get rid of the red tape that is hindering affordable housing. Bet you didn't see that on CNN. Originally Posted by Austin Ellen

Of course you predict a Trump landslide. You also predicted Republicans would hold the House in 2018. Tell me why you think he will win Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Arizona. With FACTS to support your opinion. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

Homeless people will be placed in work camps. These people will be given all the luxuries of what might be considered a prison setting without the sentence. That's why Democrats talk about "Free Stuff". So if a person finds him or herself down on their luck living in their car or walking the streets begging for a handout it will be imperative that they apply for Government Assistance through a work program where by the Government supplies them with all the necessities of life at the expense of tax payers. So for example if a Construction site needs a clean up crew to pick up debris left behind, the workers are supplied by the State with people that were formerly homeless.
Winning the House was a significant win because it keeps the POTUS from having a green light to do whatever he wants to do. I would say the same thing if the parties in power were reversed. There has to be a balance of power in order to make government work correctly. Unfortunately, the unwillingness of either party to work together for the good of all inhibits that from happening. As I asked Ellen to do, look up Community First in Austin as a small start to helping the homeless. That's has nothing to do with what Iam talking about. Organizations like that don't have a Government origin.

Again you're showing your lack of knowledge in regards to the electoral college. Originally Posted by bb1961
