Also means basing your hiring decision based on the possibility that they might take maternity leave. The U.S is one of the few developed countries that does not mandate paid maternity leave, so the fact that we do allow them more time off and allow them two months of paid leave is, I believe, commendable (I am not patting myself on the back, I didn't make this policy).
