Advice on how to deal with a stalker

CurvyKatie's Avatar
Ok, that is what I was wondering.

So the cease and desist will precede the protective order and the cease and desist along with evidence of his stalking/harassing behavior will secure the protective order with the police/judge.

So basically this is how you get the police to take you seriously.

Because even as Amiliah has stated, that even though a woman may be in the adult industry, once a protective order is issued the police must follow through with any necessary action against the stalker despite her chosen occupation.

I decided to put that part in red for the ladies reading this thread.

But how many years of experience do you have dealing with whores who have been stalked harrassed & etc? Originally Posted by Amiliah Rayne

Are you trying to earn 3 clients, or are you offering your services, i.e., that call that works 99.99% of the time, pro bono? Originally Posted by pxmcc

I think the gals should carry bear spray as non-lethal self defense in case this bloke accosts them out of the blue. Would you disagree with that advice? Originally Posted by pxmcc

The problem with those advocating "self defense" in this thread, is that when the police arrive, you never know whose story they are going to believe. And a lady in this profession lacks credibility.

One party may go to jail, or both.

It is expensive to hire an attorney for an assault charge, and never mind any existing warrants and lost wages for jail time plus bail.

And if the lady herself gets charged with assault it will be even more difficult to take any action against the stalker.

Of course self defense is necessary when physically attacked, but never a good idea to go looking for a fight. Better to have the necessary history that documents what the stalker has done to you, such as the cease and desist letter and protective order, to protect yourself from ending up in jail yourself in the event you do have to physically protect yourself.

The criminal justice system treats my provider clients the same way it'd treat any other person. I can't speak for other providers' experiences.

Again, is the guy you're talking about on probation?

But if the lady is able to secure the protective order, then the police have to help.

No, he is not on probation, he accepted a plea and a guilty charge so that he could walk, scot-free. So he thinks that since he is scot-free now, he is well within his right to send me nasty messages, etc.

But isn't true that if you get such order that the person you are getting the order against will then know your RW name?

^^yes. lol at shyster jon. both parties will be up in each other's biz, so to speak. lotta it is about something called "due process." it's almost like suing someone.

getting jon's 99.99% effective call for a reasonable fee for professional services may be a better option for parties seeking a certain level of "discretion." btw, can I get my referral fee? ha ha

honestly, after this thread, i think the offending party may re-think his MO. He's gotta worry about getting "hammered" by SC, getting "hammered" by Shyster Jon, and whatever mix of the two px can throw in for good measure. lol. it takes a village.

Shyster Jon, I have a couple of questions.

Can you give us the difference between a protective order and a restraining order? A restraining is used only after physical violence has occurred?

Also, I got a persistent bugger that once obtained an assault charge after attacking me. He still persists in sending me messages of a harassing nature even after being charged. What protection does the cease and desist order provide? If I have one sent to him and he continues contact me, is that enough ammunition for me to take to the police? Originally Posted by CurvyKatie
