They also found that they could penetrate the sides of an armored personnel carrier. "Arcane" rounds do not need a clean room, just a good lathe.

Neither copper or brass rounds will defeat steel plate. You are an idiot. Small arms AP ammo isn't made out of either of those materials. The projectiles are fashioned from hardened steel or tungsten. Larger anti-tank rounds are made from depleted uranium.
