My 0.02 on why its slow even thoughgh the economy is picking up: everyone is spending on the vacations and big ticket items they had to postpone over the last few years. People are either out of town or there is no money left to hobby after finally being able to buy that boat, new car, home, etc.

My 2 cents.....Well although I did not respond to the post in ML, I have spoken on the subject of boycotting in the past. I was out of TX working and decided to hobby while I was located. They had nothing and the closest provider was there only 3 days a week and did not like my hue. One of the subjects of the board was lack of providers, declining level of service, and everyone requesting the same donation. It was then that I mentioned taking a stance as a request to show the ladies to step up. It feel on death ears as I was a visitor. To another posters point, they hobby their way and I will hobby my way. They continued to complain and I decided not to participate in traveling over seventy miles for bad service. I just got me a friend while I was there and FYI, she as my mistress/play thing was not more expensive.

Now I did end up convincing a provider to visit me while she was traveling back to her main location. She was nice and plan on bringer her to TX for a visit. I will donate more for the experience but that is my discretion. I donate for the experience and I place the value on it....no one else does it for me. I don't look at the next man value and judge. If it's for you, then it is for you.

Now about the ML post that birthed this thread, I do not remember where the guys were attacking the ladies but I could be wrong. Let's watch the jargon we use as people tend to get off subject and get hung up on words. It maybe asking too much from you all but try to keep it civil. The original discussion would of been a great dialog if it were not for unchecked egos and butt hurt feelings.

Finally, I said all this to say it will all work itself out in the end. If the guys decide to boycott it may have an effect, it may not, and the ladies may continue to raise or not. Hell, maybe the providers may boycott me for saying that I have supported such measures and that will be okay too. Everyone needs to relax.

There are a bunch of welcome wagon trolls that prey on the newer ladies and try to offer "advice" on how they should run their business. Its been going on and probably will never go away ehhhh its life.

From my personal experience running specials do nothing for the volume of requests/appointments i get per week. NOTHING!

I actually do better and get more interest from QUALITY clients at my normal rates than i do when i run specials.

Maybe the girls are just trying to blacklist themselves from the interest from those lowball/troll types from the jump.

There are some good guys left here on eccie who are respectful, generous, and wont try to take advantage of your time or haggle your rates.

There are always the guys who come on with their business statistics and comparisons but they will never get that this is not like any other business. It is much more personal.

If a guy does not want to see me because he feels my rates are too high there are 2 or 3 more behind him more than willing to pay my rates oh and guess what they tip or bring gifts too lol
