Went to La Me yesterday. Best broth around. Still.
I ended up going to the one at the Asian market off 75 near Richardson. Good choice?

Chung, what can you tell us about Hủ Tiếu? A pork version of Pho?

pho bac in richardson, they make a mean pho ga'
is pho bac serving the clear broth type that doesnt have so much spices in it? i prefer that kind because it emphasizes the bone flavors more. i think this is the northern style and most places here are southern style.

you guys.. please.

at least Luke chooses a specific item that is probably good, as he said.. the restaurant itself, generally speaking? no.. from my heart.

if there's a more in-authentic Vietnamese spot in DFW, Pho District on West Seventh wins rather easily.. it is everything you don't want.. or everything I don't want, at least.. bland, westernized food, limited menu, condensed milk that overwhelms the coffee that is not genuine Vietnamese coffee to begin with.. and prices a third higher than the much better Haltom city spots.

On the other hand... The currys and fried rices on photo que huong (the beef fried rice and the pork chop fried rice) are not authentic but they are delicious. You should give it a try. Imagine it is Eskimo food instead of Vietnamese and judge the dish on its merits.

Like you do to women...
