tannana....How do you know PI doesn't like water sports?
i'm sure he was following the advice of his lawyers....do you really think it would be a smart decision to discuss his case in an open forum like indys....
when corporate types get busted for financial dealings they do not issue reports day on the progress of their case....
and i'm sure he didn't want people coming on his site and pissing on him....after reading some of the comments in this thread who could blame him....
You don't see stuff over there because they are deleting it. I know this because I posted it and it was deleted. It's PI's to do with as he wants (until the cops head up to Michigan and grab the box(es), presumably), but I think it's a big disservice to have more than a dozen counts over one's head, many of which relating to the site, and not letting people know. But hey, it's not my sandbox. Originally Posted by stevepar

He had..
1 Felony - Level 5
3 Felonies - Level 3
Criminal Sentencing in Ohio
If a defendant is found guilty at trial, or pleads guilty prior to trial, the judge determines the appropriate sentence. Sentencing is the official punishment imposed by the court for the criminal offense. This happens at a sentencing hearing. At the hearing, the prosecutor is given the opportunity to speak on behalf of the State. The defense attorney then speaks on behalf of the defendant to mitigate the offense. After hearing from both sides, the judge makes the decision.
There are numerous options that a judge has in sentencing someone convicted of a criminal offense. These options include probation, counseling, community service, jail/prison time, and a host of other options.
The charts below outline the general punishments for felonies and misdemeanors under Ohio's general sentencing statutes.
Felony Punishments Degree Prison Time Max Fine
Felony 1.... 3-10 years $20,000
Felony 2.... 2-8 years $15,000
Felony 3.... 1-5 years $10,000
Felony 4.....6-18 months $5,000
Felony 5..... 6-12 months $2,500
So if you see the court documents, it states he paid 10, 000.00 in restitution, and each charge of F3 Felonies carries a mandatory 1 to 5 years...Soooo
Money Laundering was 3 counts and he plead Guilty (I thought he said they were bogus charges) to a Class 5 Promoting prostitution charge..most likely they could care less about that,, it was not a severe enough charge,, but the Class F3 Felonies are what will stick..
So probably since he has PRIOR arrests,,,he will most likely do 2 or 3 years and finish the rest on parole.
Not sure you can run a site while on parole tho..

Looks like he will pay some fines, get probation. This has nothing to do with the site and it's members. However, if your in the market for a skidoo and some quad runners, check EBay shortly. The $50 program didn't go over to well.![]()
The following is the little that I think I know on the subject. The judge can take PRIOR convictions into account when sentencing. The Judge can't take PRIOR arrest into account. F4 and F5 sentencing guidelines discourage sentencing jail time for first time offenders. F1 and F2 sentencing guidelines discourage not applying jail time to first time offenders. F3 Felonies have no guidelines for first time offenders regarding jail time. Without knowing the particulars of the plea and the sentence the prosecutor will ask for everything is still on the table from probation to jail time.
Also my best understanding is that running, or participating, in the site isn't illegal in and of itself. If I have any of this wrong I would love to be corrected . Originally Posted by OMGitsHuge
