I don't think anyone would want there child doing or participating, you're supposed to want better for your kids..
But when there grown you lose the power to tell then what they can and can't do, so if they did do it even knowing how I felt, I'd try to make sure they were careful and made aware of the dangers that they could face...

But I personally would rather my boys and girls to pick a different hobby and profession.
