Lol damn, you made me go read few reviews on the movie. That sucks about it. PL was good. Man, I used to have this fan made music video of Tool's 46 & 2nd to snippets of PL. Lost it when my hard drive crashed and the guy had repaired it never returned it.

FUUUUUUUUU, Ofelia looking mighty fine there. Originally Posted by Fishpie

What about a remake of a classic like the Goonies Originally Posted by rrabbit6926

Is it a remake or a sequel, or a torch passing.

At first i heard everyone is returning, then it's only cameos with no Goonies. they have been trying to do it for years. A remake won;t necessarily destroy the original. I actually want to see the Point Break remake, even though it will be nowhere near as good as the original.

Reeves, Swayze, Busey (back when he was a decent actor, before he lost his mind), Even John C. McGinley has the FBI boss. Directed by Kathrine Bigelow - written and Produced by James Cameron.

that might just be lightning in a bottle.

If your against remakes and want to see something original. I literally just finished Alex Garland's Ex-Machina with Oscar Isaac and the Alicia Vikander.

It's about a coder at a search engine that is invited to the reclusive owner and CEO's house for a 1 week vacation. The purpose of the trip is perform a turing test on the CEO's newest creation. A Fully Functional AI Robot that is in the form a sheltered but attractive young girl.

I won't say anymore beyond that - you should just experience it.

Ex Machina was a good sci fi flick. You should check out I, Origin. I'm so hoping they do a sequel for that one. IMDB give its a 7/10 but that's because the plot from the second half of the movie flies over a lot of people's head.

That bitch from Ex-machina was sexy as hell and it didn't hurt that she stood in front of a mirror - bare ass naked at one point for like 5 minutes.

Cop car wa a let down. Kevin bacon was good bite barely in it. Also saw True Story - about Disgraced NY times Mike Finkel and his relationship with convicted psychpathic murder Christian Longo. It was ok, serious effort from Jomah Hill and James Franco and the age of adaline with Blake Lively and Harrison Ford. Ford is good and I love Blake Lively, but she can't carry a film and works better as a side character. Blake Lively plays a woman who never ages and is seemingly living forever. I pretty much try to watch everything manor and fit in indies here an there.

Just saw The Loft with Karl Urban, Wentworth Miller, and James Marsden. Predictable, Cliched , and surprisingly good for a cheap thriller. Also, rented ZIipper with Patrick Wilson. About a political hopeful who becomes addicted to young escorts. see how that one is, hopefully it doesn't hit to close to home. Not the politician stuff.

Man, I want to see what you guys got to say about Spectre. Reviews from critics and audience aren't good.

Ok, Saw Spectre this morning.

Forewarning: I was up late last night and had to do something this morning, so I was a little bit more tired then usual when i saw the film.

It's Ok, I mean it's good not great.

The Good: It's full on classic Bond now. M, Moneypenny, Q, Awesome Car. Henchman with jokey nickname, even a bigger Classic Bond element(but to say would ruin part of the movie), all that good stuff. Daniel Craig is good, but at times looks a little bored with the role. The action scenes are excellent including thrilling car chases, plane chases, Helicopter stunts, a extended hand to hand fight on a train. Actors are good for the most part. Monica Bellucci is still gorgeous at 50 and can still rock black panties, garter belts and a bustier (she is also in it for like all of three minutes). Lea Sedouyx is decent as the other bond girl. They even throw in humorous moments.

The bad: The dialogue scenes drag on between the action. I found my self drifting and not very engrossed in the scenes of exposition and investigating Spectre. CHRISTOPH WALTZ IS SEVERELY UNDERUSED!!!!!! He appears early on then vanishes for about and hour to and hour and a half of the film, He is good for the most part with what little time he is there and doing what he can with the material. He is no where near as good as Javier Bardem, Mads Mikkelsen, or Mathieu Amalric. He doesn't really seem like a huge threat. (i Know those two statements sound conflicting, What I mean is when he is on screen he is good, but he is barely in the movie) Dave Bautista stands out more as the silent hulking henchman "HINX." The government antagonist isn't very appealing. Spectre is long and not the good kind of long. The love story is kinda thrown in there and doesn't feel real or organic.

Spectre is nowhere nearly as good as SKYFALL or Casino Royale. There feels like several missed opportunities. The action is good and thrilling, but it doesn't grab you the way SKYFALL did. It's one of the weaker bond films, kinda ranks around Quantam of Solace.

I enjoyed it for what it was, and it's Daniel Craig's bond.

Good movie.......yes
but, was I let down....Sadly, also a yes.
Just got done watch Spectre. I agree not as good as some of the other Bonds with Daniel Craig. One thing that did kinda annoyed me was the take from Austin Powers and Dr. Evil plot on the connection from the evil mastermind and Bond. Oh also wanted to see more of the sex scene with the fine Italian window, too bad film was rated PG 13.

My god -

Monica Bellucci - That is a gorgeous lady.

From the Matrix Revolutions

She still hot as hell at her age - she could have been bond's love interest and that would have been fine.

It's Gaspar Noe so you have to go in with a very open mind and be prepared to be shocked. He doesn't hold any punches.

The bathhouse stuff, when the husband threatens the tranny sw for info on the guy and all those other SW being attacking the group. It was gross, but just so shocking and in your face. even the 10 min "Scene" Where the director leaves the camera on Monica's face the whole time. Almost like your strapped to a chair and he's holding your eyes open, forcing you to watch. the Fire extinguisher parts was probably the worst of it all.

His new movie LOVE 3D is playing at Sundance cinemas and is supposed to be excessive to the max.

Looking forward to "The Revenant" in December. Just saw the Bond film ,went out & payed for my girl & my 2 best friends. We all thought it was ok,but it wasn't as good as the first(definitely better than skyfall).

After that I'm only waiting for Batman v Superman . I'm a bit of a DC fanboy. & one of the few whom did not hate Man of Steel.
