Fuck...most of my guy friends don't even have an Atm card. They go to the bank once a week and get a few grand of "walking around money" and that's it.
They wouldn't have a clue what Venmo or CashApp was at all, LOL.
I don’t know how the cash apps work and I don’t care. I just think transferring money electronically exposes the hobbyist to the risk of loosing annomonity. If a hobbyist does not use a hobby phone he’s setting himself up for all sorts of potential problems. The same holds true for money transfers. You do realize that we are now living in an age where pretty much everything can be tracked electronically. The cash withdrawal you made at the atm or even in person thru a teller at the bank, the call/text you made from the hobby phone, and the car you drove to the appointment can all be tracked and traced back to you if the need is great enough. The more advancements the world makes in technology the less privacy and anonymity we have.
The concept of a $20 deposit is utterly rediculous. If a reputable provider is sick of no shows I don’t have to agree but I can see her point of charging a larger deposit as her time is valuable. $20 says time is not worth very much Originally Posted by FunMonday
