I know this thread has been focused on video games, but a thread in another city got me wondering if we have any tabletop gamers here. I used to be pretty active in Warhammer, Magic, and several others but don't get to play much these days. I do still spend time painting miniatures and keeping up with what's new though. Anybody else into any of that stuff? Originally Posted by thrakattack82I used to play a ton, but these days mostly stick to my one long time home game in 4E. I grew up on Nintendo. I think my sister and I are the only girls that like to watch other people play console games. The other night I watched my date do a PT run (the silent hill teaser) and was very entertained.Where have you been all my life?
I've played several games from LANs of UT, raids in WoW, the endless grind of FFXI, goth Masquerade larps, and good ole' 20 sided D&D. I also adore Munchkin. You have to like a game where cheating is encouraged and rewarded.

Love em, had many since D&D hit in the early 80s... just never got a chance to play most of them for lack of knowing anyone else that was interested.
D&D basic and expert set... FASA Star Trek and Doctor Who... TSR Marvel Super Heroes... and my favorite: Call of Cthulhu Originally Posted by Cyber Tech
