If Boeing engineers stated it was off a triple seven and it had been in the ocean for about a year, and there is only one triple seven missing, how much science do you need JL?

What was the angle of impact and speed? Can explosive residue survive salt water for a year?
Where did the barnacles originate? Do barnacles form in the open ocean and live a year or more? Do barnacles mean it was near land?
Can barnacle formation generate specific clues about where it went down. What if the barnacles are only 3 months old?
What aren't there plenty more similar parts floating around in the area - the composite structure and air pockets are not unique to just one part.
Is there a lot number on the part? Can the material be traced to a specific supplier? Can it be age dated?
Get the idea?
