...I know what you are trying to say, but if the dang mechanic thinks my oil filter is good for another 3000 - 5000 miles and only changes some of my spark plugs, I am going to make him do it over correctly. And never return.
However, let me paint this picture. If you were to take your car into a locally owned auto shop for a tune up right after buying the automobile. And, when you return, the chief mechanic advises you that he reduced the price of the tune up because two of your spark plugs looked brand new and did not need changing. And, the oil filter also looked brand new. You would be grateful, and probably trust this man with your car. The motto of the story, is that the mechanic has learned to identify the quality client that he wants to attract, and he went the extra mile to earn your future business. ...Hope the above helps.
