250,000 illegal votes found in Arizona!!!

This argument is a bunch of bull cookies. Maricopa county already did a partial recount to verify that the sample matched the totals correctly. Then they did an audit of all of the voting machines to find any irregularities. After finding no evidence of any fraud and no evidence of any irregularities in the voting machines the election supervisors, 4 republicans and 1 democrat, certified that there was no fraud in the 2020 election.

Hell, Attorney General William Barr (Trump's butt boy) declared the U.S. Justice Department has uncovered no evidence of widespread voter fraud that could change the outcome of the 2020 election.

Your problem is not that the Democrats don't want to do a recount. The problem is that the Republicans simply won't believe the results of the recount that was already done. Legally done by the way. What the Arizona senate is doing now is more political theater that will have no effect on the outcome of the 2020 election and will simply feed the paranoia and conspiracy hogwash that you are hanging onto for dear life.

This obsession with Trump's Big Lie and the attempts to overturn a legal election is deeply un-democratic and deeply un-american. Originally Posted by txdot-guy

Any attempts to overturn an unfair election is patriotism...or that's what the dems said in 2016. Are you calling Nancy, Chuck, and Barry liars?

Feeding the same bullshit ballots into a counter is far different than checking to see if those ballots were legitimately cast. We wouldn’t need this if every measure to insure a clean election wasn’t fought against tooth and nail by dims.

Speedy, you're depressing me. When you say that "you know" the recount won't turn up anything, you're saying that you have knowledge that there was nor fraud or irregularities. There were irregularities galore. Whether or not they were fraud is for someone else to decide. But you KNOW this. Shouldn't you say that you EXPECT that no irregularities will show up?

As far as conspiracy theories; 42% of democrats still believe that Trump beat Hillary because of Russian collusion. Yeah, you'll say that the impeachment had nothing to do with the election but I guess those stupid democrats neve heard this. They think it had to do with the election and impeachment was about removing Trump. I've even seen a few college students who thought that if Trump was removed then Hillary would become president. How about that for a never-ending conspiracy theory.
Still working on the numbers but anecdotal evidence shows that Trump got over 400,000 more votes in 2020 over 2016. Now pay attention to this; Romney beat Obama in 2012 with 1,143,051 votes over Obama's 930,669. Think of that, Romney beat the most popular president of our time by over 200,000 votes. Trump comes along in 2016 and gets 1,252,401 or 110,000 more votes than Romney who beat the most popular president of our time in 2012. Then we come to 2020, Trump had 1,661,686 or 520,000 more votes than Romney who (I have to remind you) beat the most popular president of our times. So you tell me (maybe you do believe it) that Hidin' Biden, Sleepy Joe and his running mate Kameltoe got nearly 700,000 more votes than Obama who was the most popular president of our time.

No, actually it doesn't. This election cycle was dominated by people--both Rep & Dem--being very much more energized by the For Trump/Against Trump question. There were many more first time voters, and people who had not voted in a long time who came out to address the Trump referendum and hardly knew anyone else running for anything else. I would be completely shocked if it wasn't significantly out of line with previous elections.

At the end of each day of early voting we had to secure the machines, print a tape we would then cross check the next day to show no votes were added or subtracted. The daily tape showed total number of voters for each race, no indication of how many votes for any candidate. The long term people (Dem & Rep) who worked the poll with me commented from day one that the number of presidential-only voters was the highest they had seen. That was very much in keeping with what I say/heard many places leading up to the election. I go to the local Dem party get togethers, and the local Rep ones (not all of either), and the party heads were saying the same thing about this turnout--they even joked about people not having a clue that there was anyone else in the Republican party other than Trump.

I am not sure how you would further investigate the issue anyway. How would you delve into who only voted for President, or whether they were legitimate or fraudulent. Seriously, I am curious to hear how you would proceed to dig deeper on that point. Originally Posted by Old-T

It's possible, even likely, that SOME of the surge in one-race ballots (e.g. where only the POTUS race was marked) was valid as you suggest - and some was due to fraud. The way to investigate (for starters) would be to look at registrations. Was there a late surge? Did they require address verification and valid proof of citizenship? It's hard to stuff the ballot boxes without stuffing the registration rolls first.

The election says otherwise idiot. More popular than Obama. Surprised you didn't see all the sarcasm I spread on my comments.

As an idiot, you're allowed to have your own opinion but not your own facts.
