Okay, back to what constitutes a newbie in the eyes of PROVIDERS.
You may have a long and ardent history of seeing escorts, but if you have no RECENT, VERIFIABLE references, i.e., the last lady you dropped a pouch of gold on after knowing her in the Biblical way rode a horse naked in England and had chocolate named after her, you pretty much are a newbie, or as good as. Very little difference to ladies who believe that safety is paramount.
Takes the same amount of effort to screen you as someone who has never visited a provider. This does put a lot of fellows in a tough spot in that they haven't been very active in the Hobby or may have visited ladies who are retired or UTR. P411 is helpful in this case, as it at least backs up your assertion of having old references, and same with reviews, but personal info will likely still be required.
A newbie-friendly provider may ask for references as a matter of rote behavior, but if a gentleman doesn't have them -- OR -- if the references are outdated -- OR -- if they are from untrustworthy sources, she will have to move on to Plan B, whatever that may be for her. But she has a right to refuse to screen anyone if she starts getting a hinky "something isn't right" feeling. Doesn't mean that she isn't newbie-friendly, or being uncooperative or difficult, just that she doesn't want to see that particular fellow.
