What would you do if you found out your daughter was an escort

I do agree that she would have to trick them in order to get them to the table. IMO that is not the estate way to start off a couseling session to resolve family issues....

If they sense that then they may never be open the idea again ....

It is not tricking them. What she wants is to start an open dialogue. She is just trying to get their attention and enough interest to have them show up to get the discussion going. A skilled mediator can handle the situation. They just need to feel that their opinions and views will be heard which they will be for sure. There is no promise of change on either side. This is what familly mediation is all about.

Maybe I read it wrong but I thought what you were saying was that she needed to give them the impression that she was open to change which she isn't. She wants them to accept her. The above is tricking them.

I have no idea who will change or not change. The idea is to get them all to the table to try to work on communication. There is no trickery. No point in tricking anyone. She wants to be able to communicate with her parents about this and other things.
Yeah the only way i can have communication with them is if i quit the hobby and get a real job, with two felonies u arent exactly welcomed into alot of fields. I bartend but thats not a REAL job to them. Ill give it a few years maybe theyll change their minds, im not holding my breath tho. I know them too well
