Face masks aren't SUPPOSED to keep you from getting the corona virus. They are supposed to keep you from giving it to other people. You wear a mask to protect other people, not yourself. Being able to smell farts is irrelevant. the point of a cloth mask is to stop drops from flying out of your mouth and nose, not block molecules of air from getting in.

So the cloth is a one-way virus valve? The virus can get in but can't get out? That is some really hi-tech cloth.
