Not "the law of the land"?
Or is that optional?
Even if he took an oath to enforce all laws?
Like this clerk did. Originally Posted by gfejunkie

Certainly not the President of the United States. But neither is the Rowan county clerk.” Thursday, September 3, 2015.

End of the day, the law is still the law. As an elected official, she should be happy she isn't being charged with a more serious crime. As is stands, she's basically agreed to be a suicide bomber in the idiot jihad... Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Any time a government officer refuses to do his/her job (like the stupid twat in Kentucky), you get a writ of mandamus to compel the official to do the job.

Nonetheless, I think the stupid hick would have ignored the writ. She belongs in jail for imposing HER religious beliefs on others. Originally Posted by ExNYer

Elected officials not doing their duty (job).

If we're going to hold one official's feet to the fire why not all?

At least nobody died because they didn't get a marriage license. Many have died because of illegal immigrants.

What I'm saying is that this current atmosphere of lawlessness by elected officials, like ignoring laws they don't agree with, has it's roots.

Look all the way to the top elected official of this land.

The only problem for this poor Kentucky clerk is that she doesn't have the power of the executive order.

Turning your head from enforcing certain laws is akin to a Cop letting off locals. Selective enforcement? Sure but a long way from defying the fucking Supreme Court.

You posters spouting "The Rule Of Law" are hilarious.

Dali is right, this country has gone nuts.
I thought conservatives were for the rule of law? You decry the sanctuary city but you applaud this woman deciding she won't follow the law as proscribed? What gives?
