AGAINST A VIRUS THAT HAS A 99.998% SURVIVAL RATE

florida has the lowest covid infection rates of any state what say the alarmist, demeaning, lying, anti desantis media now? Originally Posted by nevergaveitathoughtFlorida’s COVID-19 deaths are still among the highest in the nation - Oct 14
i do enjoy those defending the "vaccine" side effects, noting that myocarditis is such a SMALL PERCENTAGE and an acceptable risk......That corresponds with a .002% infection fatality ratio (100% - 99.998% = .002%). Among the U.S. population as a whole, before the vaccine, it was actually about 0.7%, that is, 350X higher than what you posted. COVID this year and last year is/was the 3rd biggest killer of Americans, after heart disease and cancer.

Annual deaths in the US attributable to seasonal flu range from 20,000-60,000."Die with it versus die from it" may indeed be unresolvable. But you can look at excess deaths instead. How many people died in 2020 compared to previous years? And based on that, the number of people who died as a result of the COVID epidemic in 2020 was almost certainly greater than the official CDC count of COVID deaths.
I would hope they are using the same methodology in tracking covid-19 deaths as they have been using for estimating seasonal flu deaths. I'm tired of hearing the "die with it versus die from it" argument which is unresolvable.

Question: Is the death toll from covid-19 higher because 1) it's more contagious 2) more lethal, or 3) both? Originally Posted by lustylad
