The VA scandal....

Can't be from lack of money. Their budget has tripled in the last decade but the number of veterans has declined. Where the money go?
Can't be from lack of supervision. They've hired all kinds of bureaucrats and supervisors but not doctors, nurses, or orderlies. It was the Public Employees union that negoiated their own bonuses and pay raises. It was they who decided that not putting patients on the list was the same as reducing wait times. They KILLED veterans for money. They will go to hell with the other damned.

This is manslaughter at the best and outright murder at the worst. There needs to be a criminal investigation without the involvement of Justice or the White House. Call you congressman and senator. Demand a special prosecutor. We know that things have happened. It is time to start arresting people and saving lives.

As an outsider looking in the issue is not just the VA hospitals but the benefits administration too.
The wait times to get claims processed is worse than unacceptable. They have spent a fortuen of taxpayers money and still cannot improve. The problem is not just the union which keeps them protected as they work exceptionally hard to fail to meet their quotas.

Now let me school you on the facts. Half the people in the VA system are over the age of 65 years old. Yes, you forgot about World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the First Gulf War, and all the other little actions in between. There are millions of veterans using the VA system to some degree or another. The rate of veterans dying from illness and age is greater than the number being created by presidential decree. There are fewer veterans now than there was 10 years ago and fewer patients in the system than there was 10 years ago. The problem is that the younger patients have different problems related to combat and PTSD. The older patients have gone throught that and are now more age related and chronic illnesses. That's two different kinds of patients. The older patients could be better cared for by the traditional system of private health but that would cut the amount of money going to the VA and that the union will not allow. This damned union is demanding that veteran be forced to stay in a failing system so that they get paid.

I suspect that more than one of you is part of the Public Employees Union as you are obviously too stupid and uncaring to hold a job on the outside.
