IMHO Hawaiian is vastly overrated unless all you are trying to do is eat alot of carbs. Good BBQ place up there at Barry Road exit, same one that is in Independence.

I think your talking about Dickey's? Unfortunately that one closed permanently. Not sure if it was covid related, but their not open. I think the one in Tiffany Springs is the only one still open in KC area.

Late, I am sure, but surely Smokehouse Barbecue is what he was talking about. Dickey's is decent for a national chain restaurant, but Smokehouse has been making it happen in KC for over 30 years.
