Why Pickup a Streetwalker?

I was just curious why some Hobbyist go this route? There always seem to be stories (including the stuff on Cops!) about guys getting busted by the cops where the hooker's an undercover cop. Why take the chance? Is it "that" exciting? Are the streetwlakers that much better (or cheaper) than the standard Providers?

Ladies, do you hesitate to see a Hobbyist if you know that he also gets some from streetwalkers?

I think that there are some gentlemen who like the thrill of that sort of 'hunt'. I don't think the gentlemen who see me are into that sort of hunt, and they tend to be a bit on the paranoid side, which I like (it's safer), so I don't think too much about if they are picking up SW's because I don't think they would. In general.

My one experience when trying to pick up a SW was about 12 years ago when I worked the night shift. One night on my way to work I thought "Hey, a BJ would be great right now." Being somewhat familiar with where to go from news reports I cruised over to the area and spotted this really nice looking blonde. If I had been thinking with my bigger head I would have known she was TGTBT but, the little head was doing all the thinking. I pull over and she comes to the passenger side of the truck and opens the door but never gets in. We chat back and forth for a while and she asks if a BJ would be worth $20, I respond Yes, I'll give you $20." I notice she places her hand on her hip and I hear a very faint buzz and glance down the street and notice a car with no lights easing up to the curb about three blocks down. She points in the opposite direction and says pull over there, I'll come meet you. I told her no, that I had made a mistake and pulled out onto the street. As soon as I turned the corner a cop car pulled in behind me, another came facing me, both with lights on. As they were handcuffing me the unmarked car pulls up, the blonde gets out of the passenger side and jumps into my truck and starts driving it off. I'm watching this and feeling entirely stupid, the cop that handcuffed me looks at me and says "That bitch sure looks fine driving your truck."
They take me to a parking lot where they are bringing all the other guys they've busted and then eventually to county jail. I think there were about 20 arrested that night.
After posting bond, hiring an attorney, paying fines, spending a mandatory 30 days in jail, 40 hours community service, divorce, $500 a month alimony for 5 years, half my stock and half my retirement and loss of respect from damn near everyone I knew it was not a hard decision to never, ever under any circumstance go anywhere near a SW again. Even now with all the research I do before scheduling with a provider I am extremely nervous during the first few minutes of a session. You can never be 100% certain that the person you are seeing is not undercover. As far as SW's, there is no way in hell I would ever go anywhere near where one my be lurking.

Hardallnight, I have to agree with you. In addition to what you said, i am really terrified of being robbed in a situation. There are so many opportunities here in Dallas that I just do ot think it is worth it. On a side note, there are a few girls that started on the streets that are on these boards now. I suppose that is a good thing for them to get them out of that lifestyle. 30 days seems like a long time for that conviction.

I always wonder how much of a risk you're taking if you follow some SW into an alley or a dark ,deserted street. A convertible Cadillac with a trashy blonde pulled up next to me a long time ago on Harry Hines and started flirting with me. I'd like to think that happens a lot but it doesn't so I was immediately suspicious. She asked if I was looking for some fun and instantly knew that'd make my wallet a lot lighter. I thought abou it but when she told me to follow her down a dark (really dark!) road I just passed it by, thinking it was just as likely a great place to get jumped as fucked or sucked off. It strikes me as too risky (cops, disease, reputation) and not worth it.

Yeah, I know, it's all risky, you can get in trouble in lots of differents ways if you hobby, but doing it with a streetwalker just seems more likely to end up being a bad decision.

Wow. I have never heard of a "mandatory" 30 days in jail for soliciting. Regardless, I'm sorry that happened to you. Still, the punishment seems exceptionally severe. But the divorce sounds plausible if one was caught. What a horrible situation to be in! (Sounds like my luck at times!) Again, wow.

As far as the original question goes, men probably see street walkers for the same reason they see escorts. It's really pretty much the same thing.

My attorney once told me that men can lie about their sex lives and women can lie about their age. Those are the two rules. So not seeing a man because he's had experience with a street walker doesn't make sense to me. Most men wouldn't admit to it anyway. Besides, a LOT of escorts (the ones that we see online sometimes) started out on the streets. Doesn't seem quite right to be that prejudice.

I would think there would be a visceral thrill, I'm sure, associated with it. Again, the same as seeing an escort for many.

I'm probably going to get slammed for this but I don't mind. I wouldn't NOT see a man because he had visited a street walker.

In the early 90's I used to frequent Harry Hines on ocassion before I started visiting the Gentlemen's Clubs. There were several ladies that were "regulars" out there and the consistent advice they gave me was ... never pick-up a lady who is walking the street. Only deal with the ladies driving cars. I took them at their word.

I might add that the ladies I met in those days practiced very safe sex. Probably safer that we of the hobby do now. The first thing that went on before any activities occurred was the little hat. I can't recall ever being offered a BBBJ and certainly not BBFS. My first BBBJ was actually in a gentlemen's club.

You guys are right, it wasn't mandatory 30 days, it was mandatory 15 days. I had forgotten the reason I had to do 30 days was that on the initial court appearance I was sitting there waiting for my turn to see the judge and he had given a couple of people ahead of me the mandatory sentence. I decided I wasn't going to go to jail so I left and contacted a lawyer. When I did finally go to court they charged me with failure to appear and not paying the fine. That is when they gave me the 30 days, I filed an appeal which I lost and had to do the 30 days over the weekends. I had to show up at the county jail at 5pm on Fridays and was released between 5pm and 7pm on Sundays. It is just a city misdemeanor charge, had I plead not guilty at the first hearing I could have saved myself a whole lot of grief.

Because the need drives men mad. Neglect goes deep and (excluding Logan) sometimes it's just out of a desperate need for the release but 40 bucks is just all they have. It's a street walker or he's going to drive his car off a cliff. I'm ashamed to say I used to be terribly judgmental when it came to SW, but now I see it from a much different point of view. The risk of being EXPOSED to a disease increases. That's a fact. But sometimes, I just don't think they care.

Then of course there's the other side of the coin and I will let all you capable commentators take over from here.

LovingKAYLA I think the disease risk is minimal as long as you use a cover and don't engage in any oral activities, including kissing. IMO no on in their right mind would even remotely consider BBFS or oral activities with a SW. For that matter, I wouldn't engage in BBFS with an escort either. I have never picked up a SW and I am not going to start now but I can see how a guy could get that desperate. I am just thankful that I can afford to live higher on the food chain.
