My Side of the Story: A month or so back Jennifer mentioned she was planning to come back to San Antonio to visit family at Christmas. I immediately asked her to pencil in some time for me, and thankfully she did. As the date grew near we talked about schedules, activities, and anticipation as an aphrodisiac. I was starting to feel like a little kid waiting for Santa to arrive with my gift.
I walked into the hotel where Jennifer is staying wearing my game face, eyes forward, walking purposefully to get past the front desk without any questions. All of the sudden this babe jumps up from a lobby chair and lunges at me with open arms. That was the welcome I had been hoping for. The lady at the front desk giggled while Jennifer wrapped herself around me. Turns out the two of them had been chatting like old friends while the desk agent was charging Jennifer's phone for her. Jennifer makes friends quickly wherever she goes. I think that is why she chose Las Vegas; the hospitality industry opportunities there are perfect for her personality. I dropped the gift bag in my hand in order to hang on and twirl Jennifer around while in her embrace. We finally begin to make our way to her room, but I had to go back and get the gifts. After entering her room we exchanged gifts, and continued to make out like high school kids. Then we headed out for breakfast.
Apparently country gravy is lacking in the Las Vegas area, and Jennifer had a serious craving for biscuits and gravy. We made our way to the eatery of her choice and proceeded to have a good hearty breakfast. The conversation was great, the service was top notch, and I enjoyed others reactions to the babe I was dining with. The red hair, her magnificent cleavage, in a sweater! I could've eaten her up right then and there. Jennifer order some extra breakfast items that we took over to family on our way to Christmas shopping.
Jennifer had some more gifts for family she needed to get so we took off shopping. We had a great time out and about together. She shared how she found her current job and feels blessed to have a good job. Told me all about what she is doing now and near term plans. She also told me more about the struggles she faced until the current job came along. It wasn't easy out there alone finding her way, but she did. We shopped until we were hungry for lunch and Jennifer was craving real Tex-Mex so we stopped at one of her favorite places. Carne guisada, puffy tacos, queso and chips, and lots of sweet tea. All went down with more animated conversation. I just couldn't get my fill of looking in her bright, clear eyes. I enjoyed the conversation, but I would have listened to her humming her high school fight song as long as I could look in her eyes. Before long, we made our way back to her hotel room with the gifts.
At some point during the day I realized my face was hurting. I had been smiling much more than usual for me, big and happy. The smile lasted all day long, and carried over to Christmas day.

. No you didn't imply she retired but I remember a thread saying she was. but her profile is disabled so I can only take a guess. She's had other handle names so my comment was in relation to the couple of "retirement" handles. We all know one day she will be back on the board Pissing people off and on a rampage being WHISPERS GRANDE.....then apologizing afterwards lol. It's cool.
