What a mess. Who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to drop a Jewish state right in the middle of the land of extremists?
But that’s water under the bridge, now we’re stuck defending Israel and living with the dangers of the extremists hating us because of it. My opinion 9/11 doesn’t happen if Israel never happened.

So at what point do we say to Israel they need to come up with a two state solution or we are done helping and backing you?

Two state solution? Do you want to give Hamas state status? It’s a complicated situation that nobody really understands. Especially the corrupt crooks in our government. At the end of the day, it will be settled one way or another. It won’t be peaceful under the clowns in the current administration.

Israeli's are NOT going to end this war with Hammas until they leave GAZA in my opinion. They were given an opportunity to serve and create a space for Palestinians, but they fucked that up. The Abraham Accords were about the following:

Sounds ok-

BUT The radical's of Hamas, never read it, or believed in it, and actually the entire accord was written by outsiders of Israel and other states; sure it's a wish list, but clearly never intended to be followed as anything more than a pacifier.

Anyone who claims it was more than a sham document has their head directly up their Keester. If it was so- there would be lots of complaints from Bahrain and UAE, on what Iran and Hamas have done- and of course the, HEAD for an eye military of the Israeli's didn't help with the constant bombardment of the area. They should have just turned off all the news sources, and marched through and gathered, deported, or acted with extreme prejudice to those who didn't leave of their own volition. Hammas- FAFO- And because Israel needs us to be a partner with them, they have shit the bed, and want us to help clean up the mess.


(ON a side note- the Ex Potus DJT, said some baloney about putting an IRON dome over top of the USA. He clearly has no concept of both the cost and size difference of a tiny strip in the middle east to covering an entire continent, anymore than he knows any concept of healthcare.)

THe only way Israel gets out of this, is either letting Hamas stay in GAZA or taking this thing up 15 notches. Or voting out Bibi Netanyahu

It was a mistake from the beginning. Agree, a Hamas state will most likely be a mistake but there aren’t good choices here. I’d try a two state solution with a lot of financial backing and hope they are all tired of war.

WHAT ARE HEZBOLLAH'S OPTIONS?
Israel has its boot on Hezbollah’s neck. The pressure is unrelenting, and Israel is presenting Iran/Nasrallah with 3 options:

1. Agree to UN resolution 1701, a humiliating surrender and a retreat beyond the Litani River.
2. Continue absorbing massive damage to its military capabilities without being able to respond meaningfully.
3. Taking the bait and doing something that will give Israel the legitimacy to start a full-scale war.

Hezbollah does not have unlimited time to choose. I assess that Israel will continue to escalate dramatically until the High Holidays are over and the elections in the US (Nov 5). If nothing changes from Hezbollah until then, Israel will initiate a full-scale war regardless of what anyone else wants.
