I do not understand the provider verification on PD,but ECCIE still is my favorite site over PD.
PD has no forums and a heavily regulated review systems. PD is heavily used in California, but even with the changes ECCIE is a much better site.

PD requires an existing member verify you. So, if you found out about PD from someone you know, send them the link to your profile to get the ball rolling.
