" I CAN SEE CLIMATE CHANGE FROM MY KITCHEN WINDOW".....

hahahah..............dummy Boxer............

Senator Boxer said: "The latest IPCC report adds a tremendous sense of urgency for Congress to wake up and do everything in its power to reduce dangerous carbon pollution. In California, we can just look out the window to see climate change's impacts - from the driest year on record in 2013 to the increased frequency and intensity of wildfires. This new IPCC report identifies the serious threats to human health, vital infrastructure, and the world's economy that will multiply as temperatures warm. It confirms that we must cut carbon pollution now to avoid lasting changes to our planet."

Wow, Boxer can see all that from her window, even more than Sara Palin could see....but then Palin doesn't live in the posh neighborhood of Marin County.

Anyone who is capable of critical thinking knows that the idea of "Climate Change/Global Warming" is greatly exaggerated. The urgency is nothing more than hype and the only solution government will employ will be a Carbon Tax. That's the real goal is to tax us on something that doesn't impose a real and impending danger on life or the environment. The real concern should be the pollution of Air and Water brought about by direct human intervention. For instance it is said that tons of plastics are found in the Oceans yearly the presents of plastics disrupts the natural ecosystems of the ocean.

First up, a Pentagon report released earlier this month identifies climate change as a “threat multiplier” and “a critical component of future defense strategy.” The Quadrennial Defense Review (PDF download), as the official document is known, is a periodic assessment by the U.S. Department of Defense of strategic objectives and potential military threats. It describes the United States' military doctrine — a common frame of reference across the branches of the military.

According to the 2014 edition:
As greenhouse gas emissions increase, sea levels are rising, average global temperatures are increasing and severe weather patterns are accelerating. These changes, coupled with other global dynamics, including growing, urbanizing, more affluent populations and substantial economic growth in India, China, Brazil and other nations, will devastate homes, land and infrastructure. Climate change may exacerbate water scarcity and lead to sharp increases in food costs. The pressures caused by climate change will influence resource competition while placing additional burdens on economies, societies and governance institutions around the world. These effects are threat multipliers that will aggravate stressors abroad such as poverty, environmental degradation, political instability and social tensions — conditions that can enable terrorist activity and other forms of violence.
As for how all this affects the Defense Department’s mission and methods:
The impacts of climate change may increase the frequency, scale and complexity of future missions, including defense support to civil authorities, while at the same time undermining the capacity of our domestic installations to support training activities.
On the other hand, it notes:
Our actions to increase energy and water security, including investments in energy efficiency, new technologies and renewable energy sources, will increase the resiliency of our installations and help mitigate these effects.

The models used to prove global warming or "Climate Change" actually so the opposite of what's going on in California.

Btw....it's called a drought.

Half of California is desert.

Since California has been working for nearly 30 years to change their climate (longer than the rest of the country) is it so hard to imagine that they succeeded? They were able to locally change their climate (which was their goal) and now they have an uncharacteristic drought as a reward for their efforts.
