Is it okay to cancel a tour or visit to another city?

Hey!

Is it unprofessional or rude to cancel a trip to another city if you are not getting prebooks for that city? When should you make the determination to cancel if it's okay?

I have found myself wanting to cancel a trip due to lack of prebooks but don't know if that's unprofessional.

Thanks for any help!

At the end of the day as the saying goes... "if it don't make money it don't make sense".... DO what is best for you!! Most guys will understand that your not going to make a trip somewhere if it's not going to be lucrative... every girl has a different goal in how much money they want to make... what works for me may not work for you...

Miranda, its a business. It's your business. Your in business to make a profit. If your not going to make a profit going to a particular city for whatever reason...CANCEL!!!! Divert to a city where you will make a profit dear. It's a intelligent business decision to CANCEL!!! Good luck & I hope you make out like a bandit in another city!!

Just think of all the overhead with gas and hotels. If you aren't going to profit it's not worth it.
Thanks everyone! usually get interest for this area but might have to cancel my trip next week :-(

If you are going to cancel, I think it is courteous to give 24 hours notice if anyone has pre-booked. I generally don't do well in Syracuse. So sometimes Syracuse is super dry for me but anywhere else I travel, even if I only have a few pre-books, short notice requests can carry a trip and still make it worthwhile.

I used to start booking a month in advance and be fully booked before I arrived in town. Inevitably, 2/3 of my clients would cancel because they booked too far ahead and could no longer make the appt. I rarely do short notice when I'm in my hometown but I usually end up doing about half pre-book and half same-day requests when I travel. It works for me.

It's ok to cancel if you're fat, but do not deprive other sanctuary cities of slender delights whew

there is slim upward mobility here compared to most areas in the US

we don't create jobs

and people leave to find a better life

people migrate here to collect welfare benefits ( some of the best in the nation) and they are

NOT your customers but maybe more likely to become your pimp

we are 49th on the list of states for business "friendliness"

its tax season and we are about 2nd or 3rd most hostile to taxpayers / property owners

so the producers are being hit now, bad timing

if your a welfare mom , your getting that 2500 to 5000 child tax credit coming in for

new furniture.... maybe they could be your target consumers?

I don't understand how anyone knows they will even be in the mood two and three weeks out
