Best Chicago style hot dog or pizza??

So where is THE spot? I’m a major foodie!
The Chicago section does not get a lot of traffic, so you probably won't get many replies.

For Chicago dogs, Gene & Jude's is a good stop. It's always busy and nowhere to sit. If you are up by the airport, Frannie's is a good local alternative, much less hectic. There are literally dozens of good Chicago Dog places.

I think Lou Malnati's has the best deep dish pizza. Any location.

You should also try an Italian Beef while here - Portillo's is the most popular, but I prefer Buona Beef. Al's is another good place.
I've never been to Lou Malnati's, but it's supposed to be very good. You may also try Gino's East at 162 E Superior Street. Don't go to the chains or you'll be disappointed. Go to the original shop with the memorabilia. Best I've had anywhere in the world.
