I stand by my OP.
I have been a hobbyist on this board almost since its inceptio in 2010. Before that I was a hobbyist on the ASPD board using the same handle since 2006.. I find it a great place. I have been awarded a few points over the years, but so what?
I This election cycle, I have been more active on the Political Forum. With the current goings on in the social media world I find the ECCIE political forum to be administratively welcoming. I am not aware of wholesale deleting of posts on either (any) side of the discussions.
Yes, there is a LOT of name calling which is disappointing. The " I-E" in ECCIE stands for Information exchange. Calling a poster a so-and-so does not contribute to the exchange of ideas, nor does it convince me or anyone else that I may be wrong about something. That is my main point in posting this thread.
MY OP here is meant to thank those who provide and maintain this platform and for continuing to provide us all with this place to speak out without the fear and intimidation that comes with most of the social; media venues today.

And speaking of the I E in Eccie, yes, it it true that the letters stand for information exchange, but you forget the the other 3 letters E C C, those mean escort client community. There is no P for politics nor is there gang up on people you do not like or feel you can pick on because it is fun (whatever letters you want to use to designate that).
IF this place was a true to the ECCIE name, in addition to the little bit that is part of this community, there would be welcome wagons, ISO forums and public provider forums that let hobbyists know about it. Also, no bullying because you have a different opinion, being able to write a truthful review without the drama from a provider, her white knights or the most frequent posters who seem to know what happened without being there and last but certainly not least, rules that are equally applied to all members and if you look at a members profile, you can see the points given, by which mod and the reason (link to post that was the violation so that would mean no biased moderation. THAT, nothing else, would make this site what it is titled to be, ECCIE.
