So trump has basically called to boycott the nfl till they make everyone stand for the NA. I'm all for standing and I was not for the whole taking a knee thing... till yesterday. When he spoke at that rally with such anger over someone taking a knee called them SOB. I won't be standing either anytime soon. I will just take my seat. Its a sad day. For me I think all black millionaire athletes should sit out the Olympics as well.

"If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL,or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem. If not, YOU'RE FIRED. Find something else to do!"

He clearly confused the NFL and America with Melania. And Kap for a slave. Bought and paid for.

I stand for the national anthem. If someone else decides to not do so, that is their decision and I don't let it affect me personally. The President has many more important issues on his plate at this time that he should be focusing on than whether or not players stand for the national anthem. It is their right.

The fact is that those millionaire players are working for someone performing a sport that entertains millions. They have no place for a protest on the field. Imagine my scenario, a bunch of idiots take a knee and immediately the fans in the studium stand up en masse and head for the parking lot. They demand in no uncertain terms that they want a full refund for both the tickets and the parking. The owners would leap into action like you wouldn't believe. They would tell their idiot, spoiled players that they own them and if the can't wear the uniform with pride and conduct themselves on the field with grace then there's the door. I'm sure that most of these idiots are blowing through their money pretty quick. How would it feel to be on top of the world to worrying about making your momma's mortgage payment next month? Of course, an owner could send in a history teacher and a political science teacher to explain why they're idiots.

A person has "a right" to disrespect the United States and her symbols, and the person's employer has "a right" to terminate their employment if they exercise that "right"! When the employer doesn't terminate them after a warning then the employer is condoning the disrespect for the United States and her symbols.
Exactly what are these players protesting?

Surely it is the ongoing slaughter of young Black Men in large Cities.

One particular City now has over 400 deaths this year and ten times that many wounded.

I stand by these players kneeling in protest of this venomous activity.

Holy chit.

Twitler done already ruined one football league.

He's fucked up the beauty pageant business.

He's in the process of destroying the moral foundation of our society.

And you stupid fuckheads want to give him another pass.

Enjoy your Sundays. As terrible as they are, I'll watch the Texans.

What's next? Deporting baseball players?

Trump knows his audience and how to pander to them so for him to keep the focus on the players actions rather than the issues that the whole protests are about shouldn't be any surprise coming from him.

Hopefully all the teams will sit in unity ... a big Fuck you to Trump and his racially motivated hate speech.

that would show how great this country....our fucking president pressures you to do something and you say 'Fuck Off' without fear of being fired. This sounds exactly like wtf he tried with the former FBI Director.

Fuck Trump and his intimidation tactics. The NFL are standing up to that cocksucker and are the true Patriots.

Agreed. Except today, we're out to kick the Patriots' asses.

Twitler is a racist cocksucker, pandering to other racist cocksuckers and supported on this board by racist cocksuckers.

Perhaps a better title for this thread would have been Twitler versus Freedom.

I hope the cheerleaders take a knee too,

AssUp were you down at the Capitol with your brethren and "sisterns"?

Or do you prefer "cysterns"?
