Thinking about visiting Montgomery...

Hey guys,
I am thinking about visiting Montgomery.I have never been to Montgomery.Any suggestions about where would be good to stay and where to avoid? Also if anyone is interested in meeting me please message me and let me know.Thanks

Hey Jez, I would consider staying in Prattville, it's only about 15 miles from Montgomery. There are several good hotels there, Marriott Courtyard, Hampton Inn, a really nice place is the Marriott Legends, a bit pricier. I usually stay at the Legends or the Courtyard. There are several places to eat very close to both.

Prattville is definitely a great area! Good advice dj!

Follow the advice listed above. I've never been in a gas station with a private security guard who had 4 guns holstered until I went to one in east Montgomery.

Needless to say, I left town. Prattville is definitely a different world.

Any of the hotels near the Shoppes at Eastchase in Montgomery would be a good place to stay. The Renaissance Hotel downtown is very upscale and the downtown area has become the city's trendy night spot with bars and restaurants. I hope you came make it to Montgomery real soon.

Eastchase is a nice area as well...never had a problem there as long as it is a nicer hotel
