Giving flowers on a first date...
Is this a yes or no?
I've read on a few other sites that it's an antiquated notion or coming across as needy. Or, now she has to deal with holding or putting the flowers somewhere for the night.
I'm seeing a gal next week for a dinner date and would appreciate the input.
My inclination is to give her a small bouquet of flowers and remark how much lovelier she is.
Context: We used to be FWB so no actual dates and last time we saw each other was right before Covid. We've known each other for over 12 years.
Give flowers to women for no reason and an unexpected times.
Unless you taking her to the prom, wait until you are going to spend time at her place.
.
I think that's a very nice gesture and may lead to better times. It sure wouldn't hurt anything.
You just have to ask yourself.
What's better than Roses on a Piano? Tulips on an Organ.
Most ladies in this hobby prefer no one know what you're meeting them for.
Flowers = Romance
They're fine on a RW date.
Thanks gents. Appreciate the feedback. I’ll give my lady friend some flowers.
Yes!! she will love them!
Most women do provider or not.
& I think it is so sweet of YOU!!
Chin chin SEXY!!
Not exactly sure how this is classified as a "first date" if you've known her for 12 years and were FWB's.
Now, if it's a kind gesture for not having seen her in a while and you want to pick up where you left off on the FWB thing, that's something else.
We would either meet at a bar, her place or a PI. In all the years I’ve known her, I don’t think I ever bought her a sandwich. We never had a proper date. I’m giving her flowers and if I can find some black roses even better (she celebrates her dark side).
