Thursday's Los Angeles Times reports that the very first deadline created under the U.S.-Russian deal to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons, has already hit a snag. This weekend, Syria is dead-lined to submit a full inventory of its chemical weapons and the facilities that produce them. According to the Times, though, Syria is likely to miss that deadline and the State Department has already "signaled that it would not insist that Syrian President Bashar Assad produce the list Saturday"
