And this is why I don't have a facebook account.

Fucking Zuckerberg... He'll be one of the first against the wall when the revolution comes.

I see clients on mine and also random people that I have NO IDEA who they are.

Hopefully my clients just discretely click "Remove" if they can see me, that's what I do with the suggestions I get to add them.

Technology is too dang advanced, is nothing sacred anymore?!

If you have the app make sure it can't access your contacts and make sure that your phone number isn't linked to your account. That's one way that people show up in the people you may know list.
You also need to be aware. While you are logged in to facebook it tracks every website you visit. So log in with your alternate identity and just close the window without signing off, then check your email, text someone, visit eccie website, whatever they store that information and then correlate it, possibly sell it.

Log in, do your stuff, log out. Clear cookies upon exit.

Visiting websites incognito can also help. I know it is mentioned in the article but don't put a profile picture on facebook with your face. Also don't use you full legal name.

“I don’t want my.... cousin to discover I’m a porn star because my account gets recommended to them on Facebook,” Darling told me by phone."

She doesn't want her family to find out.

Does she do porn with a mask on? If this is a concern, whoops!

It's unacceptable for eccie members to approach others in the real world. We have beat that horse to death.

However it's shockingly laughable when ladies on here, who make no effort to conceal their identities, believe their families won't ever find out they sling pussy.

All these hobby sites have google analytics on them anyway.

At the same time, it reminds me to keep RL and hobby stuff separated. Don't text/call yourself from your hobby phone...not even 'just that one time', because it's just going to link the two together and start the 'analytics'.

Phone proximity is probably a factor. Two phones being next to each other (remember, GPS is keying on both), one is just saying to the other, hey, what's up.

Probably wouldn't hurt to turn one phone off for a couple hours every few days.
Just went through my hobby phone!! So glad to have come across thread. And I to keep my FL separated.
No one “except” clients even know that I have an additional phone and my number is blocked ( shows up on clients phones as I know caller” for their privacy as well.
By being “ unknown” im protecting client from a girlfriend/partner or god forbid a wife having access to my number.

No, nothing is scared anymore. Certainly not privacy.

When my RL phone started keying up ads based on what I had searched on my computer is when I got to really thinking. One time I was talking to my mom about a car she was looking at and then ads for that same car started showing up on my FB it was unnerving that it was listening to me. I try really hard to keep all hobby stuff on the hobby phone only.
