Mgm Resorts to charge for parking

is $8 a night really that bad? seems like its about the same as airport parking

as long as it is secure I wouldn't mind paying that, if my car gets broken into or stolen then I would be pissed

But for us locals in Vegas it's free until Dec 29. And $8 is the overnight rate. It's a pain for sure, but not awful... Just avoid NYNY or the Monte Carlo during big event weekends at the new arena next door because they are charging $20-40 to park in their garages during those times.

I don't hit the Strip that often but this would just make me go to non-MGM properties. That is, until all the others jump on board and everybody starts charging.

And yeah, its bullshit charging for parking in Vegas?? Corporate America has fully taken over here.
