The thread for people who don't write reviews and those who wish to discuss them

I included the last paragraph in this thread http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=885827 as an afterthought. I wish I hadn't, for the thread is now cluttered up with a bunch of non-germane responses. In an attempt to salvage that thread, though I fear I may be too late, I'll post that last paragraph here, so that people who want to discuss matters related to it will have a place to do so:

I wonder if that's one reason that some guys don't write reviews, though by their positive comments in other threads, you know they've seen someone and enjoyed her companionship. Not sayin' that's the only reason, but I'll bet it's a consideration every now and then.

Thank you for that, SirLancehernot. To be honest, it is really no one's business why someone does not write reviews. The people that try to make it their business are generally the ones who, when someone chooses to answer their question(s), are not going to be satisfied anyway no matter what and still discredit anything say.

You will never get any amount of respect on this board if you don't share intel. Note that I did not say "review" because I do not believe you have to be a reviewer for your information to be valuable. For example, Shooter6.5 does not review, but when he chimes in on the comment section of a review and states that he recommends a woman, that is the seal of approval I need to add her to my gcho list.

I just don't plan to ever write formal reviews. I've been lucky with every lady I've had the fortune to meet so far and happy to see them do well.

It's all good.

Agree or disagree with me, that is the purpose of this board to share ideas and thoughts, but no need to label folks and bad mouth them, high school is over and done.

NHR, don't mind these guys... they just want you to invite them for a beer.....

Much information can be shared without a review. I have learned more from co-ed and the men's lounge than by reading reviews (penis size and orgasm frequency excepted).

There are probably as many reasons not to write a review as there are those who don't write them.

One problem, TinMan, is that you have guys who know things but who never see an opportunity to chime in. There are a couple of pearls of information in the FW BP thread in the ML, for example, that, because there are no reviews of those ladies, have been heretofore unknown.

PM DeLites wrote some mini reviews in the Men's Lounge. I find mini reviews OK, not really full of all the info you might want but it is info. Better than nothing.

Take away the Review Forums and what do you have here: info on the girls (and useless back and forth shit) but not organized info; scattered everywhere. No reference point/Provider info unless you want to beat the Search field to death. Love it when I read about her reviews in one, nice location.
I think all the back room bullshit and PM me about your latest hottie on the qt bullshit, I know everything but I'm just piling on bullshit, ya'll remember the flowers and to wash ass bullshit...you fuckers ought to get a secret decoder ring and handshake, get the mods to start you your own little zone of safety where all the bitches who post look at me this happened threADs and the fuckers who don't review them can hang out and tell each other nothing!

And no offense to PM, but a mini review from PM means it isn't the fucking Reader's Digest version of "War and Peace"

It just so happens that this is the largest board in terms of number of providers and unfortunately, number of pessimists than all the others. When I see a thread/post that I can relate to in one way or another, I will reply with my opinion from what I have experienced or know about the subject, if you don't like it or feel I am not worthy of you respect, you have a right to your opinion just as I should, but it will not deter me from enjoying the hobby. After all, that is what this site is all about, information exchange.

NHR, I don't know you (or at least I don't think I know you), but your situation is one that illustrates how frustrated I would get if I didn't share intel through reviews. I have no context to judge the merits of any opinion you express. I don't know if you're a guy with 20 years of experience, or just a bored teenager with an active imagination. I at least like to be taken seriously if I'm investing time on a hobby forum, and that's hard to do without putting yourself out there and sharing specific information about the women you've seen.
