When TripAdvisor published a similar list for Canada in 2010, the Arkona Motel on Lundy's Lane in NF was named the #1 dirtiest hotel in all of Canada.
The Niagara Frontier appears to equally "distinguished" in this category on both sides of the border!

I believe the Arkona has retired the trophy for worst in Canada. Ask Velvet how much she likes the place.

Any and all hotels are dirty compared to almost anyones reasonable standards. The avg person would freak and never visit any hotel if a black light demonstration/test were to be presented. Even in the "quote" cleanliest of hotels this would be true.
But in regards to hobbying...depending upon who's in the hotel room with you is the true measure of "dirty" anyway
