It does look like a great deal of fun, but there is no way I could pull it off without many questions being raised at home....

No, that doesn't include hotel or food. It does include some world class presenters on rope play, some incredible educational opportunities, a couple of play parties where you can get your kinky/rope fetish game on. There's also rope/fetish shows/presentations to just watch if that's your thing as well.

There's also a vendor fair if you want to pick up some new toys, and if you are in the market for rope you can't beat the variety and quality of the vendors there. I believe you can visit the vendors either for free or for a small fee without having to attend the rest of the event.

Wow! A whole convention dedicated to rope bondage. Last year I went to a couple of bondage workshops and demos at DomCon NOLA and I thought they were informative. I could definitely see the value in attending a convention to learn techniques and safety guidelines from experts.
